This statement covers the By Alex Haven website. We use information you send us to answer enquiries, help with orders and send a release alert you request. Contact hello@byalexhaven.com with a privacy question.
Email enquiries
Clicking an email link opens your email app; you choose whether to send. Your email address, message and any details you include reach our mailbox, provided through VentraIP. Read VentraIP’s privacy policy.
Website enquiry form
When you submit our enquiry form, Web3Forms processes the details you enter to send your enquiry to hello@byalexhaven.com, hosted by VentraIP. Web3Forms and its service providers may process information outside Australia and use your email address and IP address for spam prevention. We also use hCaptcha to reduce automated spam. We configure Web3Forms to retain form submissions for seven days. That setting does not automatically delete messages already delivered to Alex Haven's email mailbox. We use your enquiry details to respond to you. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information. See the Web3Forms privacy policy and hCaptcha privacy policy.
Release alerts and newsletters
If you ask for a Professional Pack release alert, we use your email address for that requested notification. Email us if you change your mind about receiving it.
Buying a pack or requesting a release alert does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Monthly newsletter sign-ups are not open yet.
Purchases through Gumroad
When you buy through Gumroad, it handles checkout and digital delivery as the merchant of record. Gumroad processes contact, transaction and payment information and makes customer and order details available to us for delivery and support.
Gumroad’s services use their own cookies and may process information outside Australia. Read Gumroad’s privacy policy.
Cookies, checklist ticks and visits
We use Umami Cloud to understand which pages people visit, where visits come from, and which browsers and devices they use. Umami does not use analytics cookies or track visitors across different websites. It processes IP addresses for approximate location and anonymous visit statistics, and says it does not store those IP addresses. Our analytics data is hosted in the European Union, outside Australia. Read Umami’s privacy policy.
We exclude URL query strings and anchors from analytics, respect browser Do Not Track requests, and do not use session recordings or send customer identity or payment details to Umami.
Your checklist ticks are not saved in browser storage or sent to us. We have not added advertising trackers to this website.
Hosting services may keep technical records, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to operate and protect the site. This is separate from visitor analytics and the Gumroad checkout described above.

Email hello@byalexhaven.com to ask what information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We will explain if information needs to be retained for an ongoing request or a legal obligation.
Please leave card details, passwords, guest documents and property access codes out of emails.
